Meet Da

Four of our USA-based Compassionate Hope team members and volunteers celebrated New Year’s Day with the children at our Phu Sang Village of Hope in Northern Thailand. The team then traveled to several of our locations in Thailand and the Philippines, capturing photos and videos of what God has been doing at our Homes of Hope.

During their time at the Shalom Home of Hope in Chiang Rai, they spent time with Da, one of our precious young ladies who came to Christ — and went on to help lead her family to Christ. Da came from an impoverished Hmong village, and without finding safety, education, and purpose at our Home of Hope, she would have likely ended up as an underage child bride. Our media team, along with the gracious assistance of Kzoom, a marketing agency in Kalamazoo, Michigan, produced a beautiful video about Da’s story that was released in December.
