For our guests who may be flying, please check with your airline and your departure/arrival airport websites to find their latest guidelines. Here are the latest guidelines for Nashville (BNA) and Knoxville (TYS) airports.

There is a mask order effective in Sevierville County for public indoor locations, such as restaurants and stores.

Oak Haven Resort and Spa has requested that masks be worn when visiting the front office, but masks are not required when using the pool, walking trails, fire pits, or other outside activities.

Private cabins are also not subject to mask requirements. However, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask in the main Compassionate Hope group cabin, you are welcome to wear one. If you are feeling unwell, have a fever, or have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, please stay home and we hope to see you at another retreat in the near future.

Please let us know when you register as we will try to accommodate special dietary requests. Also, every private cabin includes a well-equipped kitchen.

Please contact us if you would information about additional guests in your cabin.

You can find the resort information, cabin amenities and policies here.

All retreat registrations are non-refundable, but are transferable to another individual. Contact us if you are not able to attend and we’ll assist you in transferring your reservation.
Al Henson Undaunted
AL HENSON

Founder, Global Ambassador – Compassionate Hope Foundation

Forty years ago, Al and his wife Susan moved to Antioch, Tennessee and started a life-long ministry that would include a thriving, diverse church and a multi-national Christian school.

Throughout the forty years, the Lord kept calling Al to Southeast Asia where he regularly traveled to serve the nations through building partnerships with trustworthy, national servant leaders.

Working with the national leaders whom he had known and served for years, Al founded in 2011 the Compassionate Hope Foundation, a ministry rescuing and caring for hundreds of children in Thailand, Laos, and the Philippines.
