Christmas for the Least of These

Left Alone in a Thailand Hospital

Last summer, a woman in Thailand, overwhelmed by the crushing weight of poverty, addiction, and trauma, found herself pregnant after a brutal assault. In desperation, she attempted twice to end her pregnancy—overdosing on pills and using alcohol and hormones.

But by God’s grace, her unborn child survived—a tiny life spared by God twice from murder. Then, only days after his birth, his mother walked away, leaving him alone in a hospital in Surin, Thailand.

Baby John

Through God’s divine orchestration, the Compassionate Hope Surin Home of Hope had been building a relationship with local government officials, just in time to be entrusted with this precious child. When asked to name him, the team chose the name “John” after John, the beloved apostle, the apostle of love.

As the government recognizes that Compassionate Hope can meet John’s needs, our hope is that more children like him will be rescued and placed in our loving care.

John’s journey is just beginning. The real challenge, and Compassionate Hope’s real calling, is raising these children in love, safety, and the transformative power of the Gospel. John needs daily care, nourishment, education, and, most of all, a safe home where he can thrive.

Will you help care for John and open the door for others like him?

Your gift today helps pave the way for John and many more rescued children. John’s rescue represents hundreds of children in Thailand who desperately need hope, safety, and a future.

By giving today, you become part of John’s story, a story of redemption, love, and God’s miraculous provision.
