Apryl Calaci

Director of Development

Apryl Calaci’s heart for Compassionate Hope’s mission is rooted in both her faith and her own story of God’s redemption.

Having experienced significant trauma in her own life, Apryl has seen firsthand how Jesus can bring hope, healing, and restoration from circumstances that once seemed impossible to overcome. Her own journey has given her a deep passion for serving vulnerable children and survivors of exploitation while helping others find the hope and freedom found in Christ.

In her hometown in Western New York, Apryl spent more than a decade actively involved in local ministry. From volunteering with Tacoma House, a program for at-risk children in her community, to being a group leader for Celebrate Recovery, she remained committed to helping others through faith-centered outreach.

Apryl brings more than 15 years of professional nonprofit development and fundraising experience to Compassionate Hope. Her background includes major gifts, donor engagement, corporate partnerships, and strategic fundraising growth, with experience working alongside executive leadership and boards to expand donor pipelines, strengthen development strategy, and build sustainable funding models that increase organizational impact.

As Director of Development, Apryl leads fundraising strategy and donor engagement efforts to grow the resources needed to continue to advance Compassionate Hope’s mission, reaching more children and communities throughout Southeast Asia.
