Siyapon “Sia” Meesri
“I want to be the light for those people who do not know Jesus in Thailand.”
About Sia:
Testimony
It was my dream to be a doctor, but I knew anyone who wanted to be a doctor should be able to use English well. My mom told me the Village of Hope was teaching English for free every Sunday. This was very interesting to me.
I heard the story about God and Jesus from them. I felt loved by them, and because of this, I kept hanging out with them. Finally, I decided to accept Jesus as my Savior. God has shown me so many things that draw me closer to Him. He has been faithful in my life. God has been preparing me for the future. I want to be the light for those people who do not know Jesus in Thailand. I know God is with me no matter where I go. He has a great plan for my life.
Home Life
My father left my family when I was in 5th grade. Since then, my mother has worked very hard to take care of me, my sister, and my grandparents. I am very close to my mother. She is a person I will love and honor for the rest of my life.
Pastor Pratuan at the Village of Hope and Papa Al found a family in America who invited me into their family and helped me attend high school in America.
Compassionate Hope Note: While most of our children live in a Home of Hope, Sia was able to continue living with her mother while experiencing the ministry of Compassionate Hope. This eventually led to her inviting Jesus into her life and, later, attending high school in America. She is now returning to Thailand where she will start her university studies toward becoming a doctor or dentist.
