The Phillips share a long-term heart for international missions, with a particular interest in Southeast Asia.
It was this interest in the spiritual needs of that region that led them to follow, and eventually pursue, Compassionate Hope’s founder and president, Al Henson. Al recognized Daniel and Jenny’s long-standing prayer for an opportunity to serve the Lord in an international ministry. He challenged them to prayerfully consider a full-time role with Compassionate Hope as our Home Sponsorship Director.
As the Home Sponsorship Director, Daniel has the primary role in pastoring the relationships between our Homes of Hope in Asia with the churches in the United States that sponsor the Homes of Hope. The key to a lasting and meaningful experience for the church sponsors is the quality of engagement and involvement between the homes and churches. Daniel and Jenny have 7 children and live in northeast Tennessee.
